Enabling us to care for inpatient and outpatient children, who need specialized care at a tertiary hospital. The breadth and depth of our experience give us the ability to treat children suffering from virtually any acute or chronic illness. Our range of services includes treating newborns, toddlers, children, adolescents, and young adults.
While we treat complex medical problems as a focus, we also provide general pediatric care. Our staff cares for patients at Prince Hamzah teaching Hospital/Amman, and Al-Zarqa governmental Hospital/Al-Zarqa.

Our health care practitioners build partnerships with our patients and families, keeping them at the center of decision-making, supporting and educating them, and encouraging them to participate in care, whenever possible. Family points of view and choices are recognized as an integral part of the planning and delivery of care and are always listened to and held in high esteem.

Although we provide simple work up and we direct patient referral in problems that we do not have sub-specialist for, we are looking forward to expand our service to include pediatric rheumatology, and pediatric advance metabolic and genetics by sending more pediatrician to get training in these fields outside Jordan. All this makes us a main referral pediatric serves for the middle of Jordan.

In addition to the patient care, our staff has a very important academic role in Jordan, by providing the educational and clinical teaching to the5th and 6th year undergraduate students including; local and international students. Moreover, our department recently has a pediatric resident teaching program as postgraduate students.
Our faculty continually develops new knowledge through research, using it to understand and treat children’s illnesses.
