The Department of Economics at Hashemite University is committed to rigorous theoretical and quantitative analysis in teaching and researching economic subjects. The Department of Economics offers programs leading to a BA in Economics and a BA in Financial Economics. The department consists of an elite group of faculty members who hold academic degrees from prestigious universities, and teach a wide range of economic fields: such as economic theory, data analysis, econometrics, and international economics.

The department also demonstrates a high level of achievements in the academic, research, and social fields, and looks forward to achieving more diversity and development of academic programs, adopting the latest references and books in teaching, and increasing awareness of social, regional, and global responsibility issues.
