The University Security Department is concerned with the following:
1. Participate in all events and activities that are held at the university within the limits of its work, secure the highest levels of safety and security for the persons participating in it, facilitate the entry and exit process, and be present on the campus.
2. Dealing with security cases within the university community, organizing security reports, and addressing the concerned authorities at the university for their procedures, including student violations.
3. Organizing and following up the process of entering and exiting the university campus by persons and cars.
3. Cooperation with Jordanian universities in the fields of exchange of experiences and consultations in the field of university security work.
4. Participation in courses and seminars related to the nature of university security work, whether held inside the university or organized by the relevant training institutions.
5. Promote the level of security on campus by employing modern technology (camera systems and automatic surveillance systems) and developing and increasing what is currently used to ensure comprehensive coverage of the university's buildings and squares, in addition to the department is looking forward to using electronic gates and magnetic cards for students inside the university and at its entrances.
