As part of the Third Scientific Day of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at The Hashemite University, the Scientific Poster Competition was held with distinguished participation from pharmacy students representing Jordanian universities. Participants presented their research projects across various pharmaceutical disciplines before Professor Khaled Al-Hyari, President of The Hashemite University, along with invited guests, faculty members, and attendees.
The competition was organized by Dr. Tahani Alwidyan, who coordinated participant registration, managed the competition process, and supervised all organizational aspects, ensuring the successful execution of the event.
The Scientific Poster Competition was evaluated by a judging committee comprising Dr. Eman Al-Mansi, Dr. Mona Awkal, Dr. Lubna Suwailmeen, and Eng. Ali Salameh.
Following the evaluation, the winners were announced as follows:
• First Place: Salma Al-Juraibeeh
Mechanism-Guided Evaluation of Cosmeceutical-Dominant Therapy in Rosacea: A Pilot Study.
• Second Place: Saif Dawas
The Soy Defense: Mechanistic Insights into Isoflavones as Natural Radioprotectors and Anti-Oxidant.
• Third Place: Aya Mohammad Ayash, Lana Abu Thilam, Aya Al-Kasani, and Saja Al-Khalayleh
Assessment of Awareness and Perceptions of Medicinal Plants Used in Wound Healing Among Pharmacy Students at The Hashemite University.
The event also featured the Visual Abstract Competition, which aimed to encourage students to communicate their research findings through concise, visually engaging scientific summaries that enhance science communication and knowledge dissemination.
The judging committee for the Visual Abstract Competition included Dr. Enaam Al-Momani, Eng. Anwar Al-Qahsi, and Pharmacist Rafif Ashweh.
The first-place award was presented to the project entitled:
Assessment of Awareness and Perceptions of Medicinal Plants Used in Wound Healing Among Pharmacy Students at The Hashemite University, prepared by Aya Mohammad Ayash, Lana Abu Thilam, Aya Al-Kasani, and Saja Al-Khalayleh.
