The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at The Hashemite University has announced the organization of its third scientific day under the title “Pharmacy Between Professional Development and Safe Practice”, with the participation of leading experts and specialists in the pharmaceutical and healthcare fields.

This scientific event aims to address key professional and regulatory topics, including the role of the Jordanian Medical Council in professional development and clinical pharmacy residency programs, as well as the regulations governing practitioners in skincare and cosmetic clinics, and the legal framework for advertising cosmetic products عبر social media.

The program will also highlight the role of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration in inspection and control of misleading advertisements. In addition, it will cover the pharmacist’s complementary role in managing oral and gum health, and discuss the latest global updates regarding infant formula and its various compositions.

The event is designed to respond to common questions faced by pharmacy professionals, providing practical, experience-based insights and a platform for direct engagement with experts.

The scientific day will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Auditorium at The Hashemite University. Participants will be awarded two accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours.

Registration fees are set at 7 JOD for early registration (until May 7, 2026), and 10 JOD thereafter. Registration is completed عبر the provided online form, with confirmation upon submission of proof of bank transfer.

The faculty also invites undergraduate and graduate students to submit scientific posters, and encourages pharmaceutical companies and institutions to reserve exhibition tables to engage directly with community pharmacists.
