The Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) program at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences has officially received international accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), following the successful completion of all accreditation requirements and evaluation stages.
The College initiated the accreditation process during the 2024–2025 academic year by submitting the required documentation and data in accordance with ACPE standards. Following the site visit conducted by the accreditation team in September 2025, the program was granted international accreditation valid until January 31, 2028.
The evaluation team’s report highlighted several key strengths of the program, most notably the College’s commitment to developing a Bachelor of Pharmacy curriculum that aligns with the needs of the regional job market. This reflects the program’s core mission of continuously enhancing its curriculum by incorporating academic courses and specialized training that meet contemporary professional requirements.
In line with this mission, the College is the only institution in the region offering three specialized tracks for fifth-year students:
-
Industrial and Cosmetic Pharmacy
-
Pharmaceutical Administration
-
Community Pharmacy
These tracks aim to equip graduates with the scientific competencies, practical skills, and hands-on experience necessary to pursue diverse career opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector and to enhance their competitiveness in both local and regional job markets.
