Course Discription : This course aims to introduce students to the concept of health culture and the relationship of culture to health because of its significant impact on raising the individual’s health, psychological and social competence and its impact on society. This course will highlight how to maintain health through behavior, nutrition, and environment. The focus will also be on behavioral variation and its negative or positive impact on health, especially the youth in Jordanian society. This course also aims to introduce students to the main principles of first aid necessary to deal with various emergency cases such as: resuscitation, trauma, wounds and bleeding, fractures, burns, shock and fainting, using problem-solving methods and creative thinking.
