Course Discription : This course introduces students to the mechanics of financial markets. The emphasis is on how markets work, how instruments are priced and how they are traded. Those attending will gain a good basic of understanding of how the markets are inter-linked, structured, regulated and of the products that are traded and how they are settled Also, this course discusses the types of financial markets and international financial crises and recent international developments.
