This course introduces and relates the basic concept of neural networks. The course will provide a current and coherent view of artificial neural networks. The neural net algorithms will be discussed to understand contemporary neurocomputing technology. It emphasizes mathematical analysis of neural networks, methods for training networks, and application of networks to practical problems. Neural network implementation will be discussed to understand contemporary neurocomputing and soft-computing techniques. The course will focus on Understanding the major technology trends driving Deep Learning: Be able to build, train and apply fully connected deep neural networks, Know how to implement efficient (vectorized) neural networks, Understand the key parameters in a neural network's architecture. |
