Gifts and Donations

The Library Unit seeks, through the Gifts and Exchange Division in the Technical Department, to enrich the library possessions of books and references by accepting offerings of books and periodicals from public and private institutions and universities as well as individuals according to certain criteria related to the technical qualities of books, their novelty, and appropriateness to the majors taught at the university. The Library Unit also donates multiple editions of books to official agencies inside Jordan (universities, public schools, municipality libraries, governmental youth centers, …etc.) according to certain principles and criteria.
The Gifts and Exchange Division also prepares lists of such donated books for the purposes of exchanging them with or donating them to universities and public institutions on a regular basis.
