Its creation: Circles:
The University City Unit was established at the Hashemite University on 08/25/2020 with the aim of removing bureaucracy in its internal support services and creating harmony between its related administrative departments, and the main motivation for work is the university’s interest, job flow and providing service for recipients and workers, and for administrative development in the performance of its internal administrative units. It aims to streamline its administrative work and increase its effectiveness, which is reflected in the level of services provided to its members and the local community, and this is through the application of the Lean Management method. The purpose of merging departments is to re-name some of its administrative units to be consistent with the nature of their implemented internal work. It will also enhance harmony and remove bureaucracy and problems in job performance.
The unit consists of existing basic administrative departments with the addition of basic services to them in order to achieve the objectives, which will include:
1) The University Environment Department is divided into:
A- Agriculture Services Division
B- Environmental Preservation Division
2) Engineering and Maintenance Department divided into: -
1. Civil Works Maintenance Division
2. Mechanical works maintenance division and desalination plant
3. Engineering Division (Engineering Projects)
4. Electrical works and solar power station maintenance division
3) Engineering Workshops Department, divided into:
1) Student Training Division
2) Production division
