It is a pleasure for me and my colleagues at the Deanship of Student Affairs to welcome you to the Hashemite University; which serves by its qualified staff   as a  valuable building force for our dear country and the world.
     Dear students, the Deanship of Student Affairs is one of the important pillars of the university due to its close relationship with students, as it was originally established to assume the responsibility of caring for the affairs of all students. This Deanship aims at developing students’ personality, taking care of their academic and social affairs, following up on their daily learning progress and investing on their spare time as well as exploiting their energies in a way that serves them better. We also help in raising students’ awareness of all life domains and we encourage their representation in local and international learning activities in addition to promoting their values of patriotism. Further, we help students get involved in university and community activities and build a sense of leadership among them. 
The Deanship also aims at activating the student’s role on campus to help them develop their personalities and overcome any obstacles that may hinder their academic progress.
     It also  takes care of the student’s university life outside the classroom with close attention, as it prepares activities, forums, camps, volunteer work, student initiatives, community service and business incubators for creative students. We also offer programs to help students develop creative writing skills and other artistic skills such as those connected to the national folklore.
In order to enhance the students’ role in dialogue and acceptance of the other in university life, the Deanship of Student Affairs, through the Student Council and the various student clubs, actively seeks to foster students thinking and decision-making strategies in an institutionalized democratic atmosphere and help them select their representatives in the university council. Furthermore, we provide different sports fields and spaces equipped with all sports equipments and specialized staff to coach and train interested students.  The Deanship also works to provide needy students with grants, loans, and other means and opportunities to pursue their academic progress and to overcome any financial hindrance.
      Finally, for the Deanship to achieve its mission and actualize its vision, it seeks to fully invest in utilizing students’ energies in the various activities inside the university, by making it possible for students to practice their hobbies .
May Allah preserve and protect His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II  and our country. Allah protect us all.
