-Director of the Financial Affairs Unit: Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervising the administration of the administrative and financial unit affairs and activities within the instructions' limits in force.
• Implementing the university presidency's policies and decisions and applying the rules and instructions in force at the university.
• Preparing policies, plans, and programs, and setting the necessary timelines for their implementation in the unit's departments.
• Presenting recommendations and proposals to develop work programs and methods in the unit to the university presidency.
• Preparing the annual draft of the university's budget and its formation schedule.
• Preparing annual, monthly, and periodic reports on the progress of work and submitting them to the university presidency.
• Preparing annual performance evaluation reports for the unit's employees with the deputy director, assistant director, and department managers.
• Supervising the managers and heads of the people, ensuring the progress of work in the departments of the unit, and ensuring the workers' discipline at all times.
• Participation in the various higher committees at the university, including (the Central Bidding Committee, the Personnel Affairs Committee, the Investment Committee, the Health Insurance Committee, .... etc.) and according to what is assigned to do so. • Following up on the university's investment portfolio and submitting proposals to the investment committee would increase the portfolio's value in the financial market.
• Forming various committees within the unit according to work requirements.
• Work to develop the performance and raise the unit's efficiency through programs and training courses appropriate to the nature of their work.
• Coordination with the university's concerned authorities to address common issues related to the unit's work.
• Follow up on the perusal of the regulations, instructions, and decisions issued according to it, related to work and the amendments that occur to them, and ensure that procedures and decisions are consistent with them.
• The work assigned to him by the president of the university.
