FAQ

Question (1) Are the tuition fees transferred when moving within the university from the regular program (competition) to the parallel program or vice versa? 
Answer: Yes, all university fees (hours fees + other fees) are transferred in full if the student receives a new admission to a certain program and is motivated by his or her university fees over the old admission.

Question (2): If there are  more than one sibling studying at their own expense at the Hashemite University and their fees are paid in that semester, and one wishes to withdraw from the University, will the student's fees be transferred to his brother?
Answer: The regulations and instructions of the Hashemite University do not provide for the transfer of the fees of the withdrawn student to his sibling.
Question (3): Are there new laptops to be purchased by new students?
Answer: All laptops that were provided to the Hashemite University have been distributed within the initiative (one laptop for every student) and there is no intention of the university to bring a new batch of devices to date.
Question (4): What are the procedures for transferring university fees between official universities if the student is accepted in both universities within the regular program ((students accepted on the competition lists, children of Zarqa and Mafraq governorates, the royal donation "provided that the royal sponsor approves the transfer process." Members of the tribes, the royal court grants or seats, the grant or seats of the Ministry of Higher Education "provided that the Ministry of Higher Education approves the transfer process."
Answer: The student reviews his college registrar at the university from which he wishes to withdraw so that he obtains a clearance form to withdraw from the university and after completing all signatures on the clearance, it is delivered to the registrar of his college at the university he wants to study in, and then this university demands the university that he withdrew Including the student with the fees owed to the student, after which the students are announced to receive their financial dues when they are received by the university to which they moved.
Question (5): Are university fees transferred between universities if admission to a government university is on the regular program and at another university on the international (parallel) program?
Answer: because the instructions for the international (parallel) program differ from one government university to another, so the student must complete the withdrawal procedures from the university from which he wishes to withdraw and recover the fees he owes from the same university.
Question (6): - If I pay my fees and then withdraw permanently from the university as I do not want to study inside the Kingdom, how much will I be refunded from the fees? What are the procedures to be followed?
Answer: - Instructions for refunding university fees stipulated that if a student withdraws from the university permanently, the following percentages of hourly fees will be returned to him for all study programs and at all stages of study, as follows:
1. If the new student accepts, registers and pays his fees before the start of the study in any semester, then withdraws from the university permanently, then (90%) of the credit hour fees will be refunded to him, up to a period of (30) days from the start of the study according to the current university calendar, Otherwise, no sums will be returned to him.
2. If the new student accepts, registers and pays his fees after the start of the study in any semester according to the current university calendar and then withdraws from the university permanently, then 90% of the credit hours fees will be returned to him until the end of the third week from the date of his payment of his university fees, other than That does not give him any money.
As for the procedures, they are as follows: -
1. A clearance certificate is obtained from the registrar of the college in which the student studies.
2. It is signed by the concerned authorities at the university after these authorities are identified by the student’s college registrar.
3. In the end, it is signed by the student's college registrar, then he goes to the fund in the financial affairs unit to sign the clearance and then goes to the office of the financial affairs unit to submit a fee refund summons after which the transaction is executed by the Student Accounts Division and when the check is due to the student Ready for delivery, the Check Division calls the student to collect it or delegates another person to collect the check on his behalf after he has provided the Check Division with a written authorization from him stating that this person will receive the check on his behalf.
Question (7): Can I benefit from the Student Fund loan in a semester other than the one in which my name is included in the loan lists?
The answer: No, because the instructions stipulate that the student must benefit from the loan that is due to him in a particular semester within a period of two months from the date of announcing the loan lists, after which he loses his right to benefit from that loan, or according to what the Student Fund Committee decides in those lists.
Question (8):  I am a student studying on the account of the Ministry of Higher Education. Do I need to approve the semester hours that I register on a semester by the advisor?

Question (9): - Where are the academic degrees certified at the Hashemite University?

Question (11): What is the deadline for paying university fees for old students?
Answer: The last date for paying university fees for old students without a delay penalty until the end of the working day on Thursday of the first week of work according to the university calendar, and university fees for old students can be paid with a delay fine of (15) dinars until the end of the working day on Thursday of the second week From working hours according to the university calendar, after which the registration for courses that have not been paid for is withdrawn.
Question (12): What is the deadline for paying new students ’fees, and was he considered an objector after this date?
Answer: - There is no specific date for the payment of new students ’fees, as the new student must register at the time of his announced registration at the time and pay the fees that are due on the same day, otherwise he will be considered an objector.
Question (13): - What are the registration fees for the international (parallel) program?
Answer: You can view the specialization hours fees for all study programs by entering the Financial Affairs Unit website on the university's main website
Question (14): Is it permissible for me to change my major within the university?
Answer: Yes, if you fulfill the necessary conditions for transfer, so that these conditions can be viewed by reviewing the admission and registration unit / at your college registrar, and the period during which the application for transfer from one major to another is made is announced through the admission and registration unit announcements, which are specified With a certain period through the university calendar.
Question (15): When do students start school?
Answer: You must review the university calendar to find out the dates of students ’work for the first, second or summer semester, whether the student is old or new from each new university year.
Question (16): - I registered and paid for a specific program at the Hashemite University and then transferred to another major, how is the amount credited for me confirmed, and if a certain amount is credited, how do I know that this amount is what I really owe?
