Objectives and Aspirations

The center aims to provide rehabilitation services for individuals with disabilities through the following:
1.    Organizing educational lectures, nutritional programs, and genetic counseling for members of the local community, including persons with disabilities and their families. These initiatives aim to offer guidance and awareness on how to interact with individuals with disabilities, uplift family morale, and reduce their economic burden.
2.    Conducting regular survey studies on persons with disabilities through the administration of standardized developmental tests to identify problems related to delays in motor, cognitive, and social development.
3.    Providing assessment and treatment services for individuals with physical disabilities using the latest internationally standardized evaluation tools and therapeutic methods. These services are designed to support the development of individualized rehabilitation plans, assess their effectiveness, and assist individuals in overcoming their disabilities and integrating into society.
4.    Raising public awareness among community members about the various types of disabilities.
5.    Offering training opportunities for university students in disciplines related to disability care.
6.    Enhancing collaboration with official entities concerned with serving individuals with disabilities, such as the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Ministry of Social Development.
7.    Conducting scientific research that supports the provision of rehabilitation services.
8.    The center also provides physical and occupational therapy services to university staff and students.
