2. Musculoskeletal and Balance Assessment Clinic
This specialized clinic features the Biodex System, a highly advanced, computerized device used to evaluate muscle strength and joint range of motion with precise digital measurements. The system generates comprehensive reports on the patient’s condition, aiding in accurate assessment, individualized treatment planning, and progress tracking.
Notably, this system is unique within the Kingdom and is only available in this clinic.
Biodex is an ideal tool for assessing patients with muscular or motor impairments. It is also used to measure muscular balance in athletes, helping reduce the risk of sports injuries. When imbalances in muscle strength are identified, customized training programs are developed to restore balance and improve performance.
Additionally, the center is equipped with an advanced computerized balance system designed to assess and treat balance impairments while standing or walking. This system serves a wide range of patients with balance issues, particularly the elderly and those with neurological conditions. It also provides proactive risk assessment for balance-related falls.
