Social Security for administrates: 
All the employees at the Hashemite University work under the social security institution regulations to fulfill the social equiveillance which includes old age insurance, disability, death, work injuries, and providing the financial support and a decent life. 
New employees must check with the unit of the social security and providing them with the following: 
-    Social security number (if available) 
-    Needed data and information to subscribe with the social security for new subscribers

Life insurance
Due to the applied regulations and restrictions at the Hashemite University ; and for the sake of expanding the umbrella of the social equivalence, the Hashemite University provides for its employees a collective insurance for risks of death and all of its types, whether it were natural or resulted from an accident, at all hours, in addition to total disability, partial disability, and insurance against all risks, according to what is approved from the accredited medical committees, inside and outside the kingdom. 
In the case of employee’s death, the insurance company pays for his/her heirs an amount of money equals (3,400) three dinars and four hundred Fils for each one thousand of the total amount that the employee receives annually. The human resources department notifies the insurance company of the employee death, and after bringing an inheritance document by the employee’s heirs and getting the amount of money of the life insurance, the financial affairs unit disburse the money by the name of Islamic jurisdiction judge to be distributed to the heirs according Shareaa regulations. Also, all of the employee’s rights from the saving fund, housing, end of service bonus will be disbursed also after deducting any rights for the university.
