About us
The Supplies Department has been established since the establishment of the university in 1995.
The department is responsible for warehousing and receipting the University’s supplies. It provides the University with high quality materials, supplies, stationery, and equipment, including construction materials, educational supplies (e.g., devices, equipment, and tools), medicines, and spare parts. The department also distributes materials and supplies according to approved forms and an electronic system and based on the Government Procurement Regulation No. (28) of 2019 and the instructions of warehouse management and inventory control for the year 2020.
The department undertakes the tasks and powers assigned to it according to the Government Procurement Regulation No. (28) of 2019, which are:
• Receiving, examining, coding and storing materials in prepared warehouses to ensure proper storage and to protect it from any factors that may affect its quality; conducting periodic inventories to ensure that their balances match the records and the documents; and distributing the furniture and stationeries to the colleges, units, and departments as needed and upon request.
• Classifying supplies and warehouses according to the latest methods in the supplies department.
• Serving the local community by donating devices, furniture, computers and stationeries to associations, schools, and cultural and educational centers.
