I am pleased to serve as the new Dean of Queen Rania Faculty for Childhood (QRFC) at the Hashemite University, established in 2002 to take a leading national role in preparing professionals specialized in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, and other childhood-related disciplines.
Since its inception, the QRFC has embraced a clear mission: to prepare academically and professionally qualified individuals capable of caring for children and providing enriching and safe learning environments that meet the highest educational standards and to employ developmentally appropriate practices in their teaching experiences. Additionally, QRFC is also committed to preparing specialists who possess the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to work effectively and humanely with children with special needs, ensuring their care, integration and equal educational opportunities.
Today, our college is entering a new phase driven by a contemporary vision and a renewed strategy, aiming to establish new departments and internationally accredited academic programs that respond to the evolving educational and societal needs within the childhood sector. This vision reflects our deep commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous development in serving children, families, and communities both locally and regionally.
Our academic programs in the Early Childhood Education and Special Education departments emphasize the application of theoretical knowledge in practical contexts by integrating the theories with real-world field experience. This contributes to the preparation of highly qualified professionals who are equipped with the competence and skills necessary to excel in the domains of early childhood and special education. The QRFC works in genuine partnerships with international organizations to develop its academic programs. It also supports and encourages scientific research aimed at addressing issues related to childhood and exploring effective scientific solutions in child growth and development, inclusive education, children's rights, and child care, protection, and well-being.
The QRFC strives to serve our community, build effective partnerships, foster innovation and entrepreneurship, and find sustainable ways to improve the lives of children, teachers, educational leaders, and families in our beloved country.
