Objectives:

1. To qualify and prepare competent personnel who are aware of the importance of tourism development and its enhancement as a source of income, with an emphasis on the preservation, protection, and proper management of archaeological sites and discoveries.
2. To conduct archaeological surveys, excavations, and provide consulting studies in the fields of tourism, archaeology, and heritage.
3. To establish electronic documentation databases in the fields of tourism, archaeology, and heritage.
4. To establish a museum for cultural and natural heritage in Zarqa Governorate, on the campus of the Hashemite University.
