Pharmaceutical Sciences Faculty Marks World Diabetes Day with Health Awareness Event
In celebration of World Diabetes Day, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Hashemite University organized a health awareness event, featuring blood glucose testing stations and educational activities for students and staff. The event was held in collaboration with Al-Iman Drug Store.
The activity was supervised by Dr. Dana Al-Atoom, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, who oversaw the organization and student participation throughout the event. The day concluded with two awareness lectures:
One presented by Dr. Inaam Al-Momani and Dr. Tahani Al-Wadiyan, focusing on diabetes, medications, and healthy lifestyle practices.
The second, dedicated to university staff, addressed treatment strategies and essential health tips to manage and prevent complications of diabetes.
The event saw strong engagement from both students and employees, with active Q&A sessions and discussions. Additionally, students contributed by preparing awareness videos about diabetes and ways to manage it, adding a creative and informative element to the event.

Welcome Meeting for New Students and Honor Ceremony for Outstanding Achievers at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences – Hashemite University
The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Hashemite University held a welcoming event for its new students (Class of 2025–2030), in the presence of the Dean, faculty members, and administrative staff. The event aimed to introduce new students to their academic environment, encourage excellence, and foster student engagement.
As part of the celebration, the faculty honored outstanding students from various cohorts whose names were added to the Honor Board, in recognition of their academic performance and dedication.
The event concluded with a group photo of the new class (2025–2030) taken in front of the Faculty building, in a joyful and proud academic atmosphere.
