ABET Accreditation

Faculty of Engineering at the Hashemite University successfully achieved full Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accreditation for seven bachelor engineering programs: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Also, the Faculty of Engineering is in process of achieving the National Architectural Accrediting Board NAAP accreditation for the Architecture Engineering Program.

The Faculty of Engineering at the Hashemite University is working progressively toward obtaining and maintaining the local and international accreditation, as means for continuously improving the faculty in achieving its own vision and mission. This can help in satisfying the educational objectives and outcomes, which in turn will improve the quality of the faculty graduates.
 

ABET is an accreditation program that helps to ensure the educational quality. ABET  is the recognized accreditor for college and university programs in applied sciences, computing, engineering, and technology. Thousands of dedicated volunteers participate annually in ABET activities.
