Students Innovations

The Jordanian engineer, Afnan, who graduated from engineering faculty at the Hashemite University, ranked first in the world in business technology and entrepreneurship.

Afnan placed her name in the first place among the 10 nominees for the United Nations Business Technology Prize in the world, which aims increasing support to reach the training of one million children in 2023 in a troubled region surrounding her homeland, Jordan.

On the tenth of this December 2020, Afnan was receiving the news of her winning first place in the world in business technology, but this award did not come out easily, as she started early on striving to develop her electrical engineering skills from the Hashemite University, and reached her dream of establishing her academic project Eureka, which means "I found it." So far, it has trained more than 5,000 young Arabs, over 10 years, to become innovators and engineers. A special focus is on artificial intelligence, the internet of things (IoT), and robotics.
