As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW 2025), the Scientific Research and Professional Development Committee for Undergraduate Students at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences – Hashemite University organized a workshop titled:
"Your First Steps into Scientific Research" 
Presented by Dr. Rand Shaheen, Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

The session attracted a strong turnout from students across various academic levels. It introduced them to the foundational principles of starting their academic research journey, offering practical guidance and insights drawn from academic experience.

This workshop marks the beginning of a series of upcoming training activities aimed at:

• Enhancing students’ research and innovation skills

• Preparing an enabling environment for student engagement in scientific research

• Equipping students with the tools and skills necessary for academic growth
