As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW 2025), and in alignment with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences’ commitment to fostering student and faculty engagement in local and international scientific forums that promote innovation and entrepreneurship in pharmacy, the Hashemite University participated in the 6th International Conference on Pharmacy and Toxicology (KSAPT 2025). The event was held in Saudi Arabia during the Global Forensics Excellence Summit (GFEX) from October 24–29, 2025, with participation from leading experts and researchers in toxicology and forensic science from around the world.

Outstanding Student Participation:

A team of Hashemite University students took part in the Arab Toxicology Knights Cup, representing three different faculties:

  • Mohammad Mahdi Firas Abu Shaqra – Faculty of Medicine

  • Mohammad Samir Abdo – Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences

  • Mahmoud Mohammad Sabri – Faculty of Nursing
    Under the supervision of Dr. Tahani Al-Wudyan – Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences

The team reached the final stages of the competition, standing out among participants from over 27 Arab universities — a remarkable academic achievement.

Faculty Involvement:

Dr. Rawan Abu Dalu, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, also delivered a scientific presentation during the conference sessions, further enhancing the university’s presence in the international academic arena.

International Exhibition Engagement:

The university delegation also participated in the international exhibition held alongside the conference, which brought together thousands of companies and organizations from across the globe. This provided students with valuable networking opportunities and exposure to cutting-edge developments in toxicology and forensic science.
