This event aims to introduce students to the pharmacist’s role in the field of intellectual property and patents within the pharmaceutical industry, and to highlight their relationship with innovation, market regulation, and competition.

About the speaker:
Dr. Fouad Darres holds a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Regensburg, Germany, and a Master’s in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Turin, Italy. He has held leadership positions in major pharmaceutical companies and led research projects at Mayo Clinic, USA.
