As part of its continuous efforts to prepare students for both local and international job markets, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Hashemite University launched its Career Readiness and Job Market Preparation Program with an engaging online lecture.

The session, held via Microsoft Teams at 6:00 PM, featured guest speaker Pharmacist Ahmad Al-Khazalah, a graduate of the faculty’s first cohort and currently residing in Canada. The lecture was moderated by Prof. Dr. Saja Hamed, Dean of the Faculty, and was attended by over 100 fifth-year students, along with several faculty members.

During the session, Al-Khazalah shared his personal journey of obtaining pharmacy certification in Canada, outlining the steps, formal procedures, and challenges he faced. He also offered practical advice to students interested in pursuing pharmacy careers abroad, and provided a comparative overview of pharmacy practice in Canada versus Jordan.

This event is part of a broader series of activities organized by the faculty to broaden students' professional horizons as they approach graduation, helping them navigate the job market with greater confidence and preparedness—both locally and internationally.
