Under the patronage of Professor Saja Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the faculty organized a workshop for students expected to graduate in the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.
The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the learning outcomes of the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences program, which serve as the foundation for designing curricula and courses, ensuring alignment with the Jordanian National Qualifications Framework and international standards for pharmaceutical education.
The workshop was coordinated and presented by Dr. Tahani Al-Wudyan to enhance students' understanding of the essential knowledge and skills required for professional success in the field of pharmacy. It covered multiple key areas, including:
- Explaining learning outcomes and linking them to the future roles of pharmacists.
- Developing creative thinking and problem-solving skills in healthcare.
- Enhancing professional communication skills and adherence to professional ethics.
- Innovation in pharmaceutical sectors, such as drug manufacturing.
At the end of the workshop, students completed a questionnaire regarding the skills they acquired from the Bachelor of Pharmacy program at the Hashemite University, including its three internal tracks. They also provided feedback on their readiness for the job market to help improve the academic program and enhance its competitiveness locally and internationally.
