In line with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Hashemite University’s commitment to equipping its students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the job market, the faculty hosted, in collaboration with the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA), experts from the institution via the Microsoft Teams platform as part of the Pharmaceutical Ethics and Legislation course, supervised by Dr. Alaa Abu Hammad and Dr. Israa Al-Damour.
Dr. Shadi Alawneh from the Drug Control and Inspection Department delivered a lecture titled:
"The Role of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration in Ensuring Drug Quality in the Kingdom."
Dr. Malak Al-Mahayra, Head of the Narcotic and Psychotropic Drugs Control Department, presented a lecture titled:
"The Responsibilities of the Pharmacist in Charge of Controlled Substances in Pharmaceutical Institutions."
The two lectures focused on critical topics related to pharmaceutical regulations and the roles of regulatory authorities, highlighting the practical responsibilities of pharmacists in pharmaceutical institutions. The sessions also included Q&A discussions to address students' inquiries and enhance their practical understanding of these issues.
