The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences honored the pharmacy students who participated in the health awareness day in the Khalidiyah area. She expressed her gratitude to them and to the faculty members from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences who contributed by providing pharmaceutical consultations to patients. The event was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Khaled Abu Al-Teen, Vice President of the Hashemite University, and saw participation from a number of pharmacy students under the supervision of Dr. Inaam Al-Momani, Dr. Tahani Al-Widyan, and Dr. Alaa Abu Hammad.

The students spoke about their experiences in communication and providing pharmaceutical advice, expressing their happiness and the benefits they gained from this practical experience during the health awareness day in Khalidiyah/Mafraq.

This free health day was organized by the International Center for Climate Change in partnership with the faculties of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Prince Hassan Bin Talal College at the Hashemite University and the University of Jordan, in collaboration with the Friends of Chronic Diseases Association and Khalidiyah Municipality.

The event featured the participation of 50 volunteers from various faculties, alongside a number of academics. It aimed to provide awareness services and various medical examinations to the residents of Khalidiyah. The services included diabetes testing, blood pressure checks, vision tests, and blood typing, as well as lectures on chronic disease prevention and first aid.
