The updated version of the national guidelines for early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer in Jordan has been officially launched with the participation of the Faculty of Medicine at Hashemite University. The event, held on Monday Oct 14th, was sponsored by Dr. Raed Al-Shboul, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health for Primary Health Care and Epidemics, on behalf of the Minister of Health, Dr. Firas Al-Hawari. The launch was part of the Pink October breast cancer awareness  activities, hosted by the Jordanian Health Forum in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, and the Jordanian Breast Cancer Dr. Mahmoud Al-Bals from The Hashemite University, who chaired the dialogue, emphasized the importance of the guidelines in enhancing breast cancer treatment and diagnosis. The updated recomendations align with Jordan’s healthcare modernization vision, focusing on clinical excellence and improving early detection rates.
