The Computer Science and Applications (CSA) program complies with the national higher education accreditation and quality assurance standards issued by the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission (AQAC) in Jordan.

These standards include both the General Accreditation Standards and the Special Accreditation Standards for academic programs. The General Standards address institutional requirements such as governance, quality assurance systems, human resources, student services, and physical and technological infrastructure. The Special Standards specify program-level requirements, including curriculum structure, credit hours, learning outcomes, assessment processes, faculty qualifications, and the computing laboratories and educational resources necessary to support computer science education.

The program is designed, implemented, and periodically reviewed in accordance with these standards to ensure continuous compliance with national quality requirements while maintaining academic excellence and supporting the evolving needs of the computing profession.

The qualification has also been aligned and formally placed within the Jordan National Qualifications Framework (JNQF), ensuring that its qualification level, learning outcomes, and graduate competencies are consistent with the national qualification descriptors and framework requirements.

In addition, the program is aligned with the academic policies and quality assurance framework of The Hashemite University and incorporates internationally recognized best practices in computer science education. The program is currently undergoing accreditation under the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET, reflecting its commitment to internationally recognized quality standards and continuous improvement, while enhancing the competitiveness of its graduates in both national and international employment markets and supporting their pursuit of postgraduate studies and professional development.
