According to the policy of the Hashemite University in helping and supporting the local community, the department of medical imaging, in cooperation with different health care providers from within and outside the university, participated in different activities inside and outside the university. Medical imaging students, along with their instructors, participated in these activities by introducing the local community into the benefits and biological effects of using the ionizing radiations and how to protect themselves from the hazards of different imaging techniques. Furthermore, advisory brochures and posters were also provided at these events.
