Vision:
Our department aims to be a leading center for teaching our students the basic medical sciences of human anatomy, embryology, histology, physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology and the foundations of genetics in an integrated and applied way for preparing a student able to assimilate the medical materials needed in the pre-clinical stage to pass 
The clinical stage and later in a distinct way. In addition to innovation through early scientific research projects to help graduate doctors who can treat patients according to proven scientific concepts.

Mission: 
1- Teaching the following subjects, whether in general courses or in body systems courses:
• Anatomy
• Histology
• Embryology
• Physiology
• biochemistry
• Genetics
• Molecular biology

2- Training students and researchers on medical applications
3- Conducting research on various points of science.
