Three research labs are available in the department
1.    The Mechatronics department has a hybrid vehicles laboratory.
2.    SMART lab (Systems of Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics Trends lab).
3.    Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems Lab
In addition, the Hashemite University has a research center for “structural research”, and a Computer Center to provide support for computing resources.
