The Department of Educational Psychology is involved in scholarship and research related to the cognitive, social, and emotional components of life-long learning and education and also in different counseling arias. Also, it conducts basic and applied research relevant to the needs of the local community. Furthermore, the department has a major responsibility to disseminate knowledge by:

• Publishing the research of its teaching staff;
• Offering continuing education short courses for the private and public sectors; and,
• Providing services and consultations to the local community
