The importance of this specialty comes from Jordan's geographical location. Jordan is one of the countries that have proven their presence on the regional and global tourism map, so many hotels, with their different classifications, and tourist resorts have been established during the past decades in order to meet the needs of the increasing number of tourists coming from different parts of the world. This increase in the number of hotels and tourists has prompted many universities to create a specialty in hotel management to supply the labor market with qualified workers with the knowledge and skills necessary to support the tourism and hotel sector.

 

The Hashemite University was one of the pioneers in this field by launching a specialty in hotel management nearly two decades ago, where many students graduated, some of whom reached the highest management positions in hotels in Jordan and the Arab countries.
