The Hashemite University Business Department (HUBD) Strategic Plan 2020 – 2025

In alignment with The Hashemite University's and The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences' strategic plans, the HUDB's endeavour is to pursue its current objective to create a pioneering academic institution. The HUBD strategic plan is to establish anacademic business facility that has global accreditation and acknowledgment among universal universities and global business sectors.

The HUBD strategic plans for 2020-20025 can be illustrated in the following:

- The HUBD is currently working on changing its master's degree title from "Masters of Production and Operation" to become "Masters of Business Administration (MBA)". We expect to finish this task by the end of 2021.

- Obtaining the national accreditation from The Higher Education and Accreditation Council of Jordanfor our "Hotels Management" major. We expect to finish this task by the end of 2023.

- The HUBD is striving to obtain the international accreditation of Business and Accounting Accreditation (AACSB) for the "Management Information Systems" and "Business Administration" majors. We expect to finish this task by the end of 2025.

- As the faculty members' turnover percentage is relatively highat the HUBD, our department will maintain its current strategy of selecting and recruiting qualified faculty members and administrative staff, which will support our department's progression and mission. This plan is a continual plan that runs through 2020-2025.

- Implementing the previously mentioned strategy will enable the HUBD to increase the number of admitted students' to our programs throughout the years 2020-2025.

- The HUDB, also, plans to promote its both undergraduate and MBA programs to target international students, particularly from The Gulf Region. The department will work on increasing the percentage of international students from various nationalitiesthroughout 2020-2025.

- The department, also, plansto maintain its current strategy of providing PhD scholarships for distinguished Jordanian graduates from highly ranked national and international universities. This is also an on-going plan through the years 2020-2025.

- The HUBD strategically plans to encourage and enhance its faculty members to engage in more international academic activities, such as, presenting their research efforts at international conferences, and publishing their work in highly recognized international journals. This strategic plan is an on-going plan that spans through 2020-2025.
