The department of pharmaceutical chemistry covers all major areas of pharmaceutical chemistry beginning with basic organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and phytochemistry. These subjects are covered sufficiently within the five years of the pharmacy curriculum along with the latest, advanced, computerized, and sophisticated instrumental methods for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of drugs at different stages of development
