Dr. ALI YUNES KHALID AL-MANASER

The establishment of the Cultural Resources Management and Museology Department aligns with the mission of the Queen Rania Faculty of Tourism and Heritage, which was founded in 1999/2000 at the Hashemite University. This initiative is part of the university’s broader strategy to contribute to the preservation of archaeological, heritage, and tourism sites across Zarqa and other governorates of the Kingdom.

Our department is dedicated to preparing a highly trained and qualified cadre of graduates capable of managing both natural and historical heritage sites. We take pride in offering comprehensive courses in museology and the management of museum collections, providing students with a specialized education in these vital fields.

The department offers a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Resources Management and Museology, equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary for the integrated management of heritage, tourism, and archaeological resources. Students gain expertise in managing both archaeological and natural sites, as well as historical and archaeological collections.

Graduates of this program are well-prepared for careers in museums, archaeological and tourist sites, as well as in the protection and preservation of cultural heritage.

We wish you a rewarding and successful academic journey with us.
