The Department of Prosthodontics and Conservative Dentistry strives to be a leader in education, scientific research and patient care. The department fully supports the university and Faculty mission to pursue excellence, integrity and an inclusive environment

The Department is responsible for teaching undergraduate students how to plan to and treat damage inflicted by oral disease and trauma using an integrative approach to teach this complex, ever-changing, and exciting area of dentistry. This is based on apply their knowledge of basic and clinical disciplines in delivering restorative treatment.

The Department plays a significant role in both pre-clinical and clinical training of dental students.  The pre-clinical courses cover both complete and partial removable prosthodontics, conservative dentistry and endodontics during the third year and fixed prosthodontics during the fourth year delivered in a state of art pre-clinical laboratories. The clinical stage will be carried out in the very modern Dental Teaching clinics in University campus, which hopefully will be ready to at the beginning of the 3rd year where students will be introduced to the clinical environment of patient management.
