Welcome to the Department of Special Education at the Queen Rania Faculty for Childhood, The Hashemite University.
We are pleased to provide you with the essential information that will help you build your academic journey and guide you toward the available options in the field of special education. We also strive to encourage our dear students to actively participate in departmental activities, as such involvement plays an important role in developing their leadership skills and strengthening their academic belonging.
The department offers distinguished academic programs, including a bachelor’s degree and a master’s program in Special Education for Childhood. These programs aim to prepare highly qualified specialists in the fields of childhood and special education, capable of meeting the needs of the educational field and the community.
Our Future Aspirations

At the Department of Special Education, we aim to enhance scientific research in the areas of disabilities and childhood, expand local and international partnerships with relevant institutions, and develop specialized training programs that meet labor market needs. We also aspire to establish additional postgraduate programs and integrate modern technology into teaching and training, thereby improving learning outcomes and the quality of educational services provided to our students.
