The use of information technology in the different Scientific and administrative field results in a high demand for specialists in this field despite the increase of graduates during the last few years and the reason for that is mainly because of differences among the graduates' abilities. Therefore, there is a demand for qualified graduates in the market since companies are always looking for graduates who are qualified to deal with the continuous developments in the IT field.
Department of Computer Science and Applications aims to graduate specialists in the Information Technology field who are qualified to deal with the market requirements by including the basic sciences and programming skills in the curriculum, in addition to encouraging the students to be self-dependent, self-learning, working in teams and participating in the specialized training courses in information technology.
