Welcome to the department of clinical Pharmacy and pharmacy practice!

The department of clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice at Hashemite University was recently established in 2020. Its  vision is building up students' knowledge in basic and pharmaceutical practice-related education, as well as skills for professional services in various health care settings. Based on this vision, our department provides various courses through various teaching methodologies in basic medical sciences as anatomy and histology, physiology, pathophysiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, and toxicology, then students' clinical knowledge and skills are broaden by clinical and pharmaceutical care courses (pharmacotherapy, clinical biochemistry, pharmacotherapy case studies, communication skills and pharmaceutical care, and over the counter drugs) in addition to training programs in community pharmacies, hospitals, as well as drugstores.

 Meanwhile, the department provides distinguished courses in pharmaceutical marketing, pharmaceutical accounting, pharmacoeconomics and elective courses of the pharmaceutical management track. The pharmaceutical management track in our school is characterized by providing specialized practical training course in reputational drugstores within well-designed and programmed plan and under the direct supervision of academic staffs specialized in pharmaceutical management field.

The department's staffs are dedicated and committed to achieve the department's missions and objectives to prepare competent graduates with the knowledge, and skills required to deliver safe and high quality patients' care.
