Within the royal interest in education to achieve the reform by adopting new programs in information and communication technology and employing them in an optimal and safe manner and with the beginning of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the importance of the programs offered by the IT Department comes. The department currently offers three academic programs: a Bachelor degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, a Bachelor degree in Cyber Security and Bachelor degree in Business Information Technology.
The importance of the offered programs lies in the fact that they are able to meet the challenges facing decision-makers and users of computer information systems, and keep pace with the growing demand for analyzing huge amounts of big data from different work environments, in order to get intelligent and secure systems.
On the other hand, the IT department seeks to prepare and qualify graduates in the fields of data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and business information technology to adapt to the requirements of the labor market and the urgent need to adopt the idea of digital transformation and obtain an intelligent and secured work environment. Accordingly, work has been done on preparing study plans and courses for the programs offered by the department to contribute to keeping pace with developments in the areas of digital transformation locally and globally.
