Welcome

Department of Oral Medicine and Surgery is responsible for teaching undergraduate students all basic oral and dental sciences including Oral surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology and is conducting research on diseases of the oral and craniofacial complex. Furthermore, the Department provides clinical training for undergraduate dental students in the various fields of Oral Medicine and Oral Diagnosis, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Radiology.

Vision and Mission
- To be a leader in providing teaching and training in Oral Diagnosis, Oral Medicine and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for undergraduate students. This can be achieved through:
- Providing students with up-to-date education high standard clinical training in Oral Diagnosis, Oral Medicine and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Providing basic oral health care for local community through dental teaching clinics and specialty clinics.
- Upholding oral health awareness among the members of the local community especially in low-leveled socio-economic regions.
