Introduce the student to preventive conservation work and its importance in the conservation process. It also examines ways of preventing deterioration of archaeological materials by control of their environment. It will include the application of preventive conservation measures before, during and after archaeological work such as the construction of shelters. It studies the role of site management as one type of preventive conservation measures in these sites. |
