Cover the basics and principles of remote sensing and the general characteristics of electromagnetic spectrum. It introduces the different types of Satellites and other instruments used in remote sensing which are applied in the discovery and conservation of cultural heritage site. The lab work covers the various techniques of image processing in remote sensing such as image classification as demonstrated by ERDAS IMAGINE 9.1 software to analyze and interpret satellite imagery for archaeology and conservation study. |
