Dimensions of cancer survivorship, end-of-life and palliative care, and professional issues for advanced practice oncology nurses with focuses on evidence-based practice and case management are major milestones of this course. Students will be trained in an area of oncology nursing to receive their comprehensive clinical training in such as bone marrow transplantation (BMT), chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgical oncology, cancer critical care, and palliative care. The practice component offers the opportunity for the student to acquire the roles of oncology nurse specialist. |
