Introducing the students to the skills required to conduct a comprehensive assessment is a starting point of this course. Emphasis is placed on the acquisitions, processing, and interpretation of data collected from adult client. Critical thinking skills will be utilized to analyze and interpret the data. Physical, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual approached are used to assess the client and to incorporate consideration of client needs, state of wellness, developmental, functionality, and response to life experience.
